“Re-Sensing Sculpture” is one of two exhibitions accompanying “Stan Eteryczny” open for viewing at GALERIA KONKRET AR.T’s virtual platform. It displays works executed by young Portuguese artists from the Facultade Belas Artes of the University of Lisbon. Their almost palpable, mesmerising forms reveal themselves magnificently in 3D through VR goggles.
“In the context of studio practice, the making of models through assemblage compositions is a playful moment while involving sculpture practice and thinking. Ephemeral and processual, they have a limited existence due to the low durability of the materials. The 3D digitalised works live now in the virtual room gallery of ephemeral sculpture that we called “pocket sculptures”, that stand together with Numerical Art in GALERIA KONKRET AR.T and at the Oratorio in Florence.”

The exhibition is part of the XR Festival Florence 2024 organised by the Opera Network within the framework of the CAPHE project funded by the UE’s Horizon Europe.
The Re-Sensing Sculpture exhibition will be open for viewing in the GALERIA KONKRET AR.T spatial.io between 13th of June 2024 and 31st of August 2024.
